Agnieszka Polkowska is a designer, design curator, and educator with a Ph.D. in design. Her work centers on exploring and understanding the dynamics observed in nature through speculative design and sustainable practices. She actively works in design education as the Dean of the Faculty of Design at the Academy of Art in Stettin, where she runs a speculative design studio and design research course. Polkowska also carries out interdisciplinary courses at Total Design Management postgraduate studies at Warsaw University of Technology. Agnieszka cooperates with such institutions and initiatives as the Sustainability by Design at Folkwang University of the Arts, Technical University of Munich, Institute of Industrial Design, Pomeranian Science and Technology Park Gdynia, Łódź Design Festival. She had the pleasure of working on R&D projects for such clients as Samsung, Ceramika Paradyż, Desa Unicum, Biżuteria YES, eobuwie.pl as well as many others. A member of Programme Boards of Gdynia Design Days and Design 32 competition.
